Boston Family Portraits Lindsay Hite Photography

I met Rayna when she was being honored at a gala for her achievements overcoming some serious obstacles in her path, and fighting for a better life for her family. She spoke of the struggles overcoming homelessness, addiction and other challenges with such passion and love for her family I knew that this portrait session needed to happen. Through it all, they got stronger together and that deserves a place of honor in their home. A piece of artwork to celebrate the beautiful life that they have, and the connection that Raven, Eric and Rayna share as a family. I put a Gift Certificate in the mail the next morning so we could get to work planning a Boston family portrait experience for them! I spoke with each of her children to learn what they are proud of, who they are at heart, and what they admire most about their mom.

A Full Boston Family Portrait Experience

We met up for a creative family session where I captured photographs of Rayna and her children. It was wonderful to see how they interacted together as a family. It was such a privilege to be able to spend time with them and to get to know them.

My favorite moment was during the Cinematic premiere when Rayna was overcome with gratitude and I said to myself, this is TRULY what it’s all about!

When the artwork arrived to my studio, it was time to deliver it to Rayna! She was so excited for the reveal, she invited her sweet neighbor over to share in the experience. Together, they marveled at Rayna’s beautiful family and she beamed with pride.

I was so touched by Rayna’s kind words about her family session and her artwork:

“Every day I think about you because of the beautiful portrait that you did for me and my family that is in our living room. You brought my family together. Since that day of the photoshoot we have been getting along and it’s a beautiful thing. My grandbabies come here and always look up at the photos. The youngest one always says to me, ‘Grandma that’s my daddy!’” – Rayna

Thank you, Rayna. You’re an inspiration and I am thankful for the opportunity to photograph you and your family. Happy Mother’s Day!
