Immunogen Business Headshots Lindsay Hite Photography

Last year, I was approached by ImmunoGen, Inc during their rebranding process and tasked to create genuine, candid-feeling, fresh portraits for their employees. They wanted to give their employees new headshots that they would be proud to use on across their social media channels. The goal was to create portraits that truly captured the energy, dedication and heart of the amazing people that make up this company.

ImmunoGen, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on the development of antibody-drug conjugate therapeutics for the treatment of cancer. They reached out to me when they were about to do their brand re-launch with a big, exciting project! They came to me with an idea:

“We want to make portraits of all of our 300 employees during our big brand launch party. You have two hours.”

Challenge accepted!

I contacted the best of the best Boston photographers from the photo community here in Boston to make this happen. I reached out to Doug Levy to bounce ideas off of him, reached out to expert Digital Tech Alex Jones and went to work.

Boston Headshot Photography

I had done headshots many times before, both on-site in offices and hosting clients at my photo studio to create a strong portrait, but this was unique.

I assembled a team of 15 to have onsite that day. We had six photo stations for employees to come in and have their portrait taken. We did the math and figured out exactly how many were needed to accommodate the number of people we needed to photograph. Once photographed, the employees chose their favorite portrait on site. We had six photographers including myself, paired with six digital technicians, making sure the file download process was smooth and the images were consistently superb quality. To manage the process, I also had one general assistant helping the flow and to be able to react quickly to supply anything needed.

We also had BostonGIF on site for some entertainment value. They had two booths with two attendants. GIFs from the booths projected on big screens, constantly refreshing. It was such a fun way for the attendees to be able to interact with each other!

I love going back to ImmunoGen’s headquarters on a quarterly basis to provide their new hires with the same high-quality business portrait experience, just on a smaller scale. It’s an incredible honor to work with a company doing such important work, and it was truly a challenge I welcomed to have the opportunity to work with an incredible crew. We gave the employees an experience they won’t forget.
