Well this is pretty cool! I was recently named Boston’s Best Wedding Photographer for 2016. Sounds so crazy to write it out, so ….rewind! Let’s time travel for a second to pre-teen Lindsay, growing up in a suburb about 30 minutes outside of Boston, making collages from magazines in my room, and sewing clothes for Barbies. We’d take day trips to Newbury Street, and Harvard Square, and I thought the city was just the coolest place filled with the most fashionable people and I dreamed of being a part of it someday. Flash forward to today and I own an exciting creative business in one of the most supportive, and inspiring wedding communities. Every weekend I have the opportunity to create imagery with amazing clients from Boston to Vermont, Cambridge to Cape Cod and sometimes even farther because I do love to travel! My heart loves Boston, and so when I got news that Improper Bostonian Magazine named me “Boston’s Best” Wedding Photographer of 2016, I was floored. This city has such an amazing pool of talent, especially this specialized niche of wedding photography. We are constantly cheering each other on, and challenging each other by sharing new ideas. My clients give me the keys to be able to make the images I make, and tell the stories I tell. It’s their trust that allows me to keep pushing and pursuing more honest and beautiful images each time. Long story short, we don’t do it alone, we do it together.

Thanks for the photo Castle Paper Co. and so happy to be sharing the spread with MStarr design!
